Lake Stevens AFH LLC was founded by a family that had seen firsthand what institutional scale does to elder care: overwhelmed staff, unfamiliar faces, residents reduced to room numbers. We built something different.
Our home is licensed for a maximum of four residents. Not because of constraint, but because of conviction. When you have four people in your care, you learn their names, their routines, their favorite meals, and the stories that make them laugh. That intimacy is the entire product.
We opened in 2025 with one purpose: to give seniors in Snohomish County a genuine alternative to large institutional care. Every decision we make is designed to earn the trust families place in us, from day one.
Every decision we make flows from the same source: dignity first, always.
We begin by listening to the resident and to the family. Preferences, routines, and history shape every aspect of their experience here.
Our space is designed to feel like a well-loved home: warm lighting, comfortable furnishings, meals at a real dining table. Institutional aesthetics have no place here.
We maintain awake staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no overnight shift where a resident rings a bell into the dark and waits.
You are not handing your loved one over. You are inviting us into a shared care relationship. We communicate openly and welcome visits at any time.
We support independence wherever possible. The goal is always to help residents do what they can, not to do everything for them.
We are a licensed adult family home in the State of Washington, subject to regular inspection. Our record is clean and our doors are open to scrutiny.

Our full care team is introduced personally during your tour. We believe the best way to know our caregivers is to meet them in the home where they work. Schedule a visit and we will make the introductions.

Lake Stevens AFH is owner-operated. Zinash is not a distant administrator: she is the home’s primary caregiver, and the person responsible for your loved one’s care plan is the same person who greets you at the door on your tour.
The caregivers who work alongside her are chosen carefully and stay. With a maximum of four residents, there is no rotating staffing pool. Your loved one is cared for by familiar faces who know their name, their routine, and their story.
